Transportation in Aalborg

Getting around in Aalborg : Busses

One of the comfortable ways how to travel around the city. The schedule for buses and where do they go can be found at: http://www.nordjyllandstrafikselskab.dk/default.aspx , unfortunately the page is only in danish, but as long as you know place of your departure and arrival you should not get lost.  In case you are not sure, which connection to use, go to http://www.rejseplanen.dk/ and here you will find all the information you need, including length of journey, price, zones etc.

The price of the bus ticket is 20 Dkk per two zones. The city is divided into several zones, zones 1 and 2 covers most of the area for 20 Dkk you can get almost everywhere. You can of course also buy so called Periodekort, which costs 348 DKK for two zones per month.  Link below shows overview on different prices for different zones if you buy the Periodekort. The Periodekort can be bought at usteri´minal, that is located in the city center. http://www.nordjyllandstrafikselskab.dk/default.aspx?m=2&i=690

Last but not least you can travel using so called  Rejsekort, which is chip card on which you put money. You just “ log in “ when entering the bus and “log out” when getting off the bus, there are some benefits linked to this card and it depends on how often you travel so much discount will you get.
